The meditation space becomes everything they used to tell me about when I was little. A small burrow in the lungs of a chicken. And then you daydream for a long time. Ants. Ants are a family of insects that live in large communities resembling cooperatives. In addition to winged males and females, there are many more wingless individuals. They all have a venom gland that predominantly secretes formic acid. They release the acid through a stinger, but if they lack one, they first make a wound with their mandibles, then spray it with the secretion. Workers and soldiers are often distinguished by the size of their heads and the tasks they perform.

Performing alongside four other women activates what I would call a feminist field of power — not one that dominates, but one that resonates. Manifestation in togetherness is not a symbolic act, but a concrete technology of resistance and regeneration. The synchronization of voices and bodies generates an energy that resists the privatization of emotions and transforms the intimate into the political. This is not a choreographed alliance, but an act of genuine collective breathing, creating a space where the voice is not a solo instrument, but the vibration of a collective.
